About Smartek Systems
I'm Paul Hailes, and I run Smartek Systems Ltd from Ryde on the Isle of Wight: smart home projects, KNX programming and panel builds across Hampshire and the south of England.
Who you'll be working with
I take on complete smart home projects as well as individual pieces of work. I design the system and handle setup and commissioning; I can work with your electrician, or bring one in if you need one. If you want one point of contact for the whole project, I can be it.
I also build and programme KNX panels for contractors and integrators across the south of England, and support existing systems remotely. You deal with me directly, from first call to handover.

Listed on knx.org. KNX certified since 2017.
Product development & beta testing
I've also worked on the device and software side of smart-home systems, not only in ETS. That helps when a project goes beyond keypads and actuators.

Beta tester for Faradite KNX products.
ZeroCore ↗
A local-first home battery controller (GivEnergy and SigEnergy) from Smartek. It talks to the inverter directly, with no cloud, and plans charging and export from Octopus Agile prices and the solar forecast. Sales coming soon: see zerocore.uk.
