This notice explains what happens to the personal information you send through smartek.uk.
Who is responsible

What the enquiry forms collect
Your name, email address and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, company, project location, project details and anything else you write in the message.
Why it is used
Only to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to arrange and carry out the work. The lawful basis is legitimate interests in responding to a request you have made, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Sharing
Your details are not sold or shared for marketing. The website is hosted by Hostinger, which runs the form. When you send it, your message is passed securely and directly to Smartek's business email, which is provided by Microsoft (Microsoft 365). The enquiry is delivered and stored there. Hostinger and Microsoft process it on Smartek's behalf as service providers.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 12 months. If you become a client, records are kept for as long as needed for the work and for legal and accounting requirements (normally up to six years).
Cookies
This website does not set tracking or advertising cookies and does not use analytics.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information held about you, or object to its use, by emailing info@smartek.uk. If you're unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
