Remote ETS programming, wherever the job is
Your team installs the KNX smart home; I build the ETS project from your drawings and device schedule and send it back ready to download. White-label if you like, for jobs anywhere in the UK.
What you get
- An ETS project built from your documents
- Clear group addresses by floor, room and function
- Scenes, presence, blinds and heating logic set up as agreed
- A check-back before anything goes to site
- Project file, group address list and commissioning notes
- Remote support while your team downloads
The documentation I need
Remote programming only works from good documentation. The better the information, the quicker and cheaper the job — and the fewer surprises on site.
Essential
Floor plans with device and circuit locations; a device schedule listing every KNX device by manufacturer, product and location; the circuit and actuator channel schedule (which channel feeds which light, blind or heating zone); and keypad layouts with what each button should do.
Helpful
Lighting design and scene requirements, presence and timer behaviour, the heating strategy, any visualisation or app needed, and the ETS version and licence holder.
Not sure if what you've got is enough? Send it over and I'll tell you what's missing before quoting.

Build in ETS
Devices, parameters, group addresses, scenes and logic set up offline.

You get a summary of addressing and scenes to check against the design.

The ETS project and notes sent to you, ready to download.
Commissioning support
Remote help while your team downloads and tests, or commissioning remotely or on site by arrangement.
Trade rates on request. Every job is scoped and quoted before work starts.
What gets delivered
The ETS project file (.knxproj), built in ETS6 and handed to you and your client — never held back.
Group address and device lists by floor, room and function, readable by whoever works on the job next.
Scene and keypad schedule showing what each button and scene does.
Commissioning notes: download order, individual addresses and anything to check on site.
Need panels too? I build KNX panels to your drawings. Working in the south? I can also commission on site. More on working together on the electricians & integrators page.
Remote programming, support or rescue?
This page: new projects programmed from your documents.
Remote support: changes and fault-finding on a running system.
KNX rescue: systems with a lost project file or no installer.
Where in the UK do you work remotely?
Anywhere. The programming is done from Ryde, Isle of Wight, and the project is sent to you. On-site commissioning is offered across the Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton, and further along the south coast by arrangement.
Which ETS version do you use?
ETS6. Tell me if your team is on an older version and we'll agree the hand-off format before work starts.
Can you work under my company name?
Yes. I'm happy to work white-label for electricians and integrators. I don't compete for your wiring or installation work.
What if the drawings change after you've started?
Send the revision and I'll update the project. Small changes are part of the job; bigger changes are quoted before I make them.
Who downloads the project on site?
Your team, using an ETS licence and a KNX interface. If you'd rather not, I can download and commission remotely through a KNX IP interface or router with site access agreed, or on site across the south.
Do you offer remote support after handover?
Yes. Changes and fault-finding after handover can be done remotely by arrangement. See remote support.
Can you program a system with no documentation?
Not remotely from scratch. If an existing system has lost its project file, that's a KNX rescue job instead.
Got a KNX job that needs programming?
Send the drawings, schedule and dates. You'll get a straight answer on availability and a quote.
