Home Wi-Fi & networking
Wi-Fi and wired networks designed and set up for homes and the systems in them, on the Isle of Wight, Hampshire and across the south of England. So KNX, cameras, door entry and AV have a solid network to run on.
What's included
- Wi-Fi access points planned around the layout of the house
- Wired connections for the devices that should be wired
- Network set up for KNX, CCTV, door entry and AV
- Remote access set up only where you agree to it
- Settings documented at handover
The part everything else relies on
A smart home leans on its network: the KNX IP interface, cameras, door entry, TVs and streaming all share it. When the Wi-Fi is an afterthought, those are the first things to drop out.
I plan the network alongside the rest of the system and set it up so each part has what it needs. Cabling is run by your electrician, or one I bring in, following the plan.
Already living with patchy Wi-Fi? Tell me about the house and what's going wrong, and I'll suggest what would help before quoting.
Where
Based in Ryde, Isle of Wight. On site across Hampshire, Dorset, Sussex, Surrey and London by arrangement; remote support anywhere in the UK.
Ask about thisCan you improve Wi-Fi in an existing home?
Often, yes. Tell me about the layout and what's dropping out, and we'll look at what would help, and what cabling it would need.
Do you set up the network for other people's systems?
Yes, if it helps the project. Tell me what's being installed and who's installing it.
